Dr. Jaideep Raj Rao is a Senior Consultant Surgeon at Arden JR Surgery, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore, specialising in Minimal Access & Robotic Surgery, Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery, Gastrointestinal and Oncology Surgery, and Complex Hernia & Abdominal Wall Reconstruction.
Formerly Senior Consultant and Head of Upper Gastrointestinal, Bariatric & Minimal Access Surgery at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Dr. Rao also led its Bariatric Surgery Programme for a decade. He received the Ministry of Health's National Healthcare Human Manpower Development Plan Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery and completed his international fellowship training at Seoul National University Hospital and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital in Korea.
With more than 25 years of surgical experience spanning complex abdominal surgery and advanced minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Rao combines clinical expertise with a patient-centred approach to deliver precise, safe, and personalised surgical care with a focus on optimal recovery.
